Bio for Loree Lough:

With more than 2,000,000 of her books in circulation, best-selling author Loree Lough has 78 books, 67 short stories, and more than 2,500 articles in print. Dubbed by reviewers “a gifted writer whose stories touch hearts and change lives,” she has earned hundreds of industry awards. She’ll add another 5 titles to her list before September, 2011, when From Ashes to Honor (#1 in her “First Responders” series [Abingdon]) releases in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of 9/11. Loree and her husband split their time between a tiny house in Maryland and a really tiny cabin in the Allegheny Mountains. She loves to hear from her readers and personally answers every letter sent to http://www.loreelough.com.

Blurb for Maverick Heart:

Boston-born nurse LEVEE O’REILLY and her doctor husband are headed to Mexico to open a medical clinic when their stagecoach is attacked. There on a barren stretch of Texas road, the infamous outlaw Frank Michaels kills Liam and leaves Levee for dead. All alone now, she makes her way to Eagle Pass, where she’s forced to trade her nurse’s cap for a teacher’s apron. In no time, she’s so completely devoted to her students that she has no time for romance.

Rancher DANIEL NEVILLE has battled doubts and distrust for most of his life. Wracked with guilt over the death of his twin sister, he believes the scars and limp sustained during a stampede are penance for the sins of his past. Dan dedicates himself to serving his family and working with the horses on the Lazy N. Marriage isn’t even on his to-do list, and he sees no reason to add it.

When a coincidental meeting brings Levee and Dan together, they’re awakened to a long-ignored desire for love and acceptance. Have they actually found it in one another’s arms? And can these two mavericks accept the plans God has for their lives?

Blurb for Little White Lies:

Pippa Hunnechurch is a British expatriate who lives in Ryde, Maryland, a small city on the Chesapeake Bay. Pippa is an executive recruiter — a headhunter — who keeps getting involved in the most fascinating murders. Happily, the attributes she uses to recruit first-class personnel for her clients — diligence, integrity, creativity, intelligence, and best-of-British determination — also help her get out of some truly sticky situations

In Little White Lies, Pippa scoffs at the idea that God cares about her future. So with economic hard times on the horizon, Pippa concludes she is on her own. Her luck seems to improve when she nails down a plum assignment and teams up with a highly successful local headhunter, Marsha Morgan. Pippa’s joy turns to confusion when Marsha drowns in what everyone assumes is a freak accident. As Pippa struggles on, she finds herself caught in a web of deceit-spun out of the harmless exaggerations that Marsha had put in the resumes of her most successful candidates. After another death-this one clearly not an accident-Pippa is in a terrible dilemma. If she cooperates with the police, she will ruin her own reputation and destroy the careers of four celebrated executives. If she remains silent, she will become the target of a ruthless murderer. But Pippa does have one ally. A genuine Christian soldier, who understands that in the midst of a battle to save her business, her reputation, and ultimately her life, Pippa needs most to put the Lord back in her life again.

Bio for Patti Lacy:

Patti Lacy, a Baylor graduate, taught community college humanities until God called her to span seas and secrets in her Kregel-published novels, An Irishwoman’s Tale and What the Bayou Saw.

Blurb for The Rhythm of Secrets:

From 1940s New Orleans to late 1960s Chicago, this is a tale of secrets, betrayal, and a love that can never be lost.
