Stars Collide
This week I’m hosting Ronie Kendig with Digitalis and Janice Thompson with Stars Collide. If you want to enter the drawings, please leave a comment on one of the post during the week with your email address. I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings end Sunday (January 9th) evening.

Interview with the heroine of Stars Collide by Janice Thompson:

1.Kat, tell me the most interesting thing about you.
Most people know me as “Angie” on the television sitcom, Stars Collide. I’m the granddaughter of Hollywood’s most famous stars of the ‘50s and ‘60s, Lenora Worth. I live with my grandmother in her mansion in Beverly Hills, and we still drive the same car she bought in 1957 (a ’57 Cadillac Biarritz convertible).

2. What do you do for fun?
My days are spent at the studio, mostly. I hang out with the cast and crew of the sitcom. I like to get out and go to the beach, on occasion. And (big secret. . .shh!) I like to go to Johnny Rocket’s for cheeseburgers and fries, especially when a certain handsome costar accompanies me. Of course, I have a little trouble going out in public because so many people recognize me from the show. Getting away from the paparazzi can be a challenge.

3. What do you put off doing because you dread it?
I dread telling Grandma the truth. She thinks I’m engaged to Scott Murphy (my co-star on the sitcom). I’m not. Well, at least I don’t think I am. Am I? Just because our characters, Jack and Angie are engaged, doesn’t mean we’re engaged. . .right?

4. What are you afraid of most in life?
I’m afraid that most men are like my dad—who abandoned my mom and I when I was young. I know it’s not true; Scott Murphy, my yummy co-star, has already proven that he’s nothing like my dad.

5. What do you want out of life?
A happily-ever-after, of course. Isn’t that what every girl wants? Okay, okay…I want one that’s real, not scripted. (These days most of my lines come from our sitcom writers.)

6. What is the most important thing to you?
The most important thing would have to be my relationship with God and my relationships with Grandma and Scott.

7. Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read?
Ack! I wish I had time to read, but I’m so busy. Life on a sitcom is so time consuming. These days, the only thing I have time to read is The Scoop, a Hollywood gossip paper. I wouldn’t even take the time to read that, but Grandma insists. She hasn’t figured out that the “reporters” for that paper are really just out for a sensational story. Of course, she’s always happy to give them one!

8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
What woman in her late twenties still has freckles? I’d change that, for sure.

9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?
Grandma Lenora has a cat named “Fat Cat.” I find him more of a nuisance than a pet, to be honest, but we tolerate one another.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?
I would go back to the ‘50s when my grandmother was a big star so that I could see her in her element. These days I see her memories clouded over, but I hear she was quite the rage “back in the day!”
