Congratulations to Juanita for winning Leanna Ellis’ Facelift and to Emma for winning Janet Lee Barton’s Brides of Arkansas.

This week I’m hosting Linda Hall with Critical Impact and Jill Elizabeth Nelson with Legacy of Lies. If you want to enter the drawings, please leave a comment on one of the post during the week with your email address. I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings end Sunday (October 24th) evening.

Bio for Linda Hall:

Award winning and twice Christy-nominated author Linda Hall has written eighteen novels of mystery and suspense, plus many short stories. She grew up in New Jersey where her love of the ocean was nurtured. Most of her novels have something to do with the sea. When she’s not writing, Linda and her husband enjoy sailing the St. John River system and the coast of Maine. In the summer we basically move aboard their 34′ sailboat aptly named – Mystery.

CRITICAL IMPACT’s blurb:

The bomb wasn’t supposed to be real. But the mock-disaster explosion to test emergency procedures killed two people in a small Maine town. And all evidence points to shy makeup artist Anna Barker as the prime suspect. When Deputy Sheriff Stu McCabe is assigned to investigate the case, Anna hopes he’ll prove her innocent. But with a harrowing past of his own, Stu seems to trust no one. Something that might save both their lives when the real killer plans to make critical impact—again.

Bio of Jill Elizabeth Nelson:

My husband and I are coming up on our 25th anniversary and life just keeps getting better and better. We live in a rural farming community in Minnesota and love the peace and quiet. Of our four children, only one is still at home, but she graduates next year. Our oldest is getting married this summer to a lovely girl. We seem to be peering into the empty nest and discovering that it may in time be filled again by grandchildren we can spoil rotten and send home.

Blurb for Legacy of Lies:

Evidence from a decades-old murder is the last thing Nicole Keller-Mattson expected to find in her grandmother’s backyard. The finger-pointing and accusations aimed at her family were easier to predict. Everyone in Ellendale is eager to blame the Kellers—but after an attack leaves Nicole’s grandmother in a coma, only Nicole can clear the family name. With the assistance of police chief Rich Hendricks, she stands a chance of solving the mystery…if she’s willing to accept Rich’s help. Nicole lost her husband in the line of duty—trusting another cop is too painful. But not trusting Rich could be deadly.
