Interview with the heroine Brides of Arkansas by Janet Lee Barton:

1.Meagan Snow (From A Love for Keeps in Brides of Arkansas), tell me the most interesting thing about you.
I love designing beautiful clothing—beautiful gowns of course, and all manner of ladies clothing, but also children’s clothing.

2. What do you do for fun?
I sketch people—and of course their clothing.

3. What do you put off doing because you dread it?
I’m not thrilled with housecleaning.

4. What are you afraid of most in life?
Letting my family down and losing our home.

5. What do you want out of life?
To have a family of my own. I’d love to marry Nate Brooks—but that scheming Abigail is going to do everything she can to get him to marry her.

6. What is the most important thing to you?
Living the kind of life the Lord wants me to.

7. Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read?
I love my Bible, but after that I mostly read Godey’s Lady’s Book and the Delineator for their practial advice and fashion news.

8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I wouldn’t be so jealous of Abigail.

9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?
I don’t have a pet. Maybe one day. . .

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?
Oh, lets see. I think I would go back to when our country was first settled. I’d like to meet the people who traveled so far so that they could settle here and have the freedoms we have now.
