Congratulations to Kim for winning Marta Perry’s Anna’s Return.

This week I’m hosting Cara Putman with Stars in the Night and Kit Wilkinson with Sabotage. If you want to enter the drawing, please leave a comment on one of the post during the week with your email address. I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at The drawings end Sunday (July 4th) evening.

Cara Putman’s bio:

Since the time she could read Nancy Drew, Cara has wanted to write mysteries. In 2005 she attended a book signing at her local Christian bookstore. The rest, as they say, is history. There she met a fellow Indiana writer Colleen Coble. With prompting from her husband, Cara shared her dream with Colleen. Since those infamous words, Cara’s been writing books. This year her 8th, 9th and 10th novels release, including Stars in the Night.

Cara Putman is an active member of ACFW and its conference committee. She served as the Publicity Officer for 2007-2008 and Membership Officer in 2009. She has also been the Indiana ACFW chapter president and currently serves as the Area Coordinator for Indiana.

Cara is also an attorney, lecturer at a Big Ten university, active in women’s ministry, and all around crazy woman. Crazy about God, her husband and her kids that is. She graduated with honors from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Go Huskers!) and George Mason Law School. You can learn more about Cara at

Blurb for Stars in the Night is a historical suspense with lots of romance set in Hollywood during1942.

When Audra Schaeffer¹s sister disappears in Hollywood, Audra flies there to
find her, but has to identify her body instead. Determined to find the killer and bring him to justice, Audra takes a job with the second Hollywood Victory Caravan. Together with Robert Garfield and other stars, she crisscrosses the southern United States as the stars sell war bonds. When Robert¹s ex-wife and another woman are found dead on the train, Audra knows the deaths are tied to her sister¹s. Is the killer is the man she¹s falling in love with? And can she identify the killer before he targets her?

Bio for Kit Wilkinson:

Kit Wilkinson holds multiple and varied degrees from the University of Virginia, the University of Tennessee, and the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. After teaching for years, she became a stay-home mom and started writing romantic fiction while her kids napped. Besides writing, Kit loves hanging out with friends, cooking for lots of people, and participating in almost any sport. She and her husband reside in Virginia. You can learn more about Kit at

Blurb for Sabotage:

Olympic hopeful Emilie Gill is beautiful, rich, successful—and in danger. Someone’s targeting her stable, her friends, her life…and there’s nowhere for her to turn. The police? They’ve charged her with murder. Her father? Out of town—again. Her best friend? He’s the man she’s accused of killing. There’s no one to count on—until Derrick Randall rides into her life. The stable manager’s support encourages Emilie to open her carefully guarded heart. But just as she’s learning to trust, it all comes apart. Her faith—and newfound love—are all she’ll have when the sabotage turns deadly once more….
