Bio for Sandra Robbins:

Sandra Robbins, a former teacher and principal in the Tennessee public schools, is a full time writer for the Christian market. She is married to her college sweetheart, and they have four children and five grandchildren. As a child, Sandra accepted Jesus as her Savior and has depended on Him to guide her throughout her life.

Her first book Pedigreed Bloodlines, a cozy mystery, released in Barbour Publishing’s Heartsong Presents Mystery line in the spring of 2008 and was a finalist in the prestigious Daphne Du Maurier national contest sponsored by the Kiss of Death Chapter of Romance Writers of America. Her second book Final Warning released in Steeple Hill’s Love Inspired Suspense line in 2009 and is a finalist in the single title Inspirational Category for this year’s Gayle Wilson Award of Excellence. Mountain Peril, a romantic suspense, releases from Steeple Hill in April 2010 and will be followed by Yuletide Defender in December 2010. As a change of pace from mystery and suspense, Sandra has two historical romances releasing soon from Barbour Publishing—The Columns of Cottonwood in September, 2010, and Dinner at the St. James in 2011.

It is her prayer that God will use her words to plant seeds of hope in the lives of her readers. Her greatest desire is that many will come to know the peace she draws from her life verse Isaiah 40:31—But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Blurb for Mountain Peril:

According to an anonymous message, a young woman is going to be
murdered in the North Carolina mountains. When a body is found,
Danielle Tyler is shocked to learn it’s her student—the third person
in her life to meet an untimely death. Is she next? From disturbing
notes and roses left in her office to cold-blooded murder, someone
means deadly business. Detective Jack Denton—the stalwart lawman
who makes her pulse race—vows to find the deranged madman, but
Danielle doesn’t dare let him too close. Especially when death seems
to be the destiny of anyone she cares about…

Bio for Roseanna White:

Roseanna M. White is a wife, mommy, writer, reviewer, and lover of all things literature-related. She graduated from St. John’s College in Annapolis and now lives in the mountains of Western Maryland with her husband and two kids, where she runs the Christian Review of Books. Blurb for A Stray Drop of Blood:

Beautiful is a dangerous thing to be when one is unprotected.

For seven years, Abigail has been a slave in the Visibullis house. With a Hebrew mistress and a Roman master, she has always been more family than servant . . . until their son returns to Jerusalem after his years in Rome. Within a few months Jason has taken her to his bed and turned her world upsidedown. Maybe, given time, she can come to love him as he says he loves her. But how does she open her heart to the man who ruined her?

Israel’s unrest finds a home in her bosom, but their rebellion tears apart her world. Death descends with Barabbas’s sword, and Abigail is determined to be there when the criminal is punished. But when she ventures to the trial, Barabbas is not the one the crowd calls to crucify. Instead, it is the teacher her master and Jason had begun to follow, the man from Nazareth that some call the Son of God . . .

Born free, made a slave, married out of her bonds, Abigail never knows freedom until she feels the fire of a stray drop of blood from a Jewish carpenter. Disowned by Israel, despised by Rome, desired by all, she never knows love until she receives the smile of a stoic Roman noble.

Too Close to Home
