The drawings end Sunday (Dec. 27th) evening.

Heroine Interview for Field of Danger by Ramona Richards:

1. April Presley, tell me the most interesting thing about you.
Oh, that’s a hard one. I’m pretty much an every-day girl who lives in a small town and tries to do the best I can. That I witnessed the murder of one of my best friends might be one of the most unusual things that ever happened to me.

2. What do you do for fun?
Garden. I love planting and nurturing the flowers—and a few vegetables—that I have growing around my home.

3. What do you put off doing because you dread it?
Cleaning. I run a business out of my garage (homemade jams and preserves), and my work kitchen has to be spotless. I’m afraid I don’t pay much attention to the rest of the house.

4. What are you afraid of most in life?
Losing people I love.

5. What do you want out of life?
Simple things. Loving folks around me and trying to do good things for them. To me, success is living a good life and trying to follow God’s guidance for you.

6. What is the most important thing to you?
My relationships with God and Daniel.

7. Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read?
Romance! I also love a good mystery. Oh, and lots of gardening magazines.

8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I wish I could be a little wiser about the world. Even with all I’ve been through, I still find that I trust folks and thing they’re inherent good.

9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?
Not right now. But Daniel and I are looking at getting two. A cat and a dog. I love the idea of curling up on a cold day with a cat and a cup of tea. Daniel loves walking the fields around here with Polly, Aunt Suke’s German Shepherd, so we may get a shepherd. Although I know of a border collie who needs a good home, too.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?
Oh, my. I’ve not really thought about that. Although, I do think it would be spectacular to have been on that nighttime hillside with the shepherds.
