Congratulations to Edna for winning Myra Johnson’s One Imperfect Christmas and to Carol for winning Julie Lessman’s A Passion Denied.

This week I’m hosting Marta Perry with Leah’s Choice and Missy Tippens with A Forever Christmas. If you want to enter the drawing for the book, please leave a comment on one of the post during the week with your email address. I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings end Sunday (Nov. 15th) evening.

Marta Perry’s bio:

A lifetime spent in rural Pennsylvania, where she still lives, and her own Pennsylvania Dutch roots led Marta Perry to write about the Plain People and their rich heritage in her current series of books for Berkley. The author of more than thirty-five inspirational novels, with over two million copies of her books sold, Marta is active in her church and community. She is a member of RWA, ACFW, and Pennwriters. When she’s not writing, she and her husband enjoy traveling, gardening, and visiting their six beautiful grandchildren.

Blurb for LEAH’S CHOICE:

All of Pleasant Valley seems to think the newcomer from Lancaster County would make a perfect husband for teacher Leah. After all, so few new families come to their isolated Amish community, and fewer still unmarried men. Daniel Glick is a widower with three young children to look after—clearly he’s in need of a wife.

Daniel’s past haunts him. Though he cannot miss the beauty in Leah’s bright eyes and patient ways, he also sees a reminder of his pain-filled marriage. Leah Beiler, too, has a burden to bear. Years ago, she was engaged to Johnny Kile, and she was heart-broken when he decided to leave the Amish community. Since then she has immersed herself in teaching, forgetting any hopes of having her own family. When Johnny returns, seeking reconciliation, Leah must decide between two paths and rely on her faith to show the way.

Missy Tippen’s bio:

Missy Tippens is a pastor’s wife and mom of three. She has a story included in Blessings of Mossy Creek, published by BelleBooks. After ten years of pursuing her dream, she made her first sale of a full-length novel to Steeple Hill Love Inspired. She still pinches herself to see if it really happened! Her debut novel, Her Unlikely Family, was a 2009 American Christian Fiction Writers Book of the Year contest finalist and is now available in large print from Thorndike. His Forever Love was a June 2009 release from Love Inspired, and A Forever Christmas is on the shelves now!

You can find Missy at www.missytippens.com.

Back cover blurb for A Forever Christmas:

Sarah Radcliffe’s quiet Christmas back in her hometown will be lost if she agrees to direct the church’s Christmas pageant. But when she meets two little boys determined to gain their father’s attention, Sarah agrees to help. Then she discovers that the dad in question is Gregory Jones, the man she loved and lost.

The single dad is working himself to the bone to give his boys the Christmas of their dreams, when all they want is some family time. Time that includes a new mommy. If Sarah can learn to open her heart, she may receive the most wonderful
present of all—a family of her own.
