Congratulations to Abi for winning a copy of Audrey Chadwick’s The Glock and the Bible. Congratulations to Debra for winning a copy of Rhonda Gibson’s A Connecticut Christmas.

I am hosting two authors this week: Nancy Mehl and Staci Stallings. If you want to be entered in either or both drawings (Nancy’s book is Cozy in Kansas and Staci’s book is Reunion), leave a comment this week and indicate you want to be in the drawing(s). I will also need an email (in case you win so I can notify you). Or you can email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com and let me know you want to be in the drawings. They end next Sunday night.

Nancy Mehl’s bio:

Nancy Mehl loves the mystery genre. “I grew up on Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys,” she says. Although she started writing at a young age, she didn’t get serious about it until she was in her forties. “For many years, I’d toyed with the idea of writing a novel,” Nancy says. “Then when I watched Murder, She Wrote, I said, ‘That’s what I want to do!’”

She has published seven novels and one compilation book. Her newest series, the CURL UP AND DYE MYSTERIES, introduces Hilde Higgins, a young woman with an unusual job. “I actually came up with this idea one day while I was brainstorming with my agent. We were talking about all of the odd “hooks” used by mystery writers. My agent mentioned hairdressers and I brought up funeral homes. As a joke, I told her I should create a hairdresser who works in funeral homes. We laughed about it, but the idea wouldn’t go away. After a little research, CURL UP AND DYE was born. It’s a hoot to write!”

Nancy lives in Wichita, Kansas with her husband Norman. She has a grown son, Danny, who is a talented graphic designer. She runs a HUD program for the city of Wichita and works with a wonderful volunteer organization, Wichita Homebound Outreach. She has a Web site: www.nancymehl.com and a blog www.nancymehl.blogspot.com. She loves to hear from readers. You can e-mail her at nancymehlbooks@hotmail.com.

Staci Stallings’ bio:

A stay-at-home mom with a husband, three kids and a writing addiction on the side, Staci Stallings has five previous Inspirational Romance novels The Long Way Home, Eternity, Cowboy, Lucky, and Dreams by Starlight and two collections of short stories, Reflections on Life I and II in print.

Stallings has also been a featured writer in the “From the Heart” series, in “Chicken Soup to Inspire the Body and Soul,” “Soul Matters,” “God’s Way for Mothers” and in numerous inspirational, spiritual, and family-oriented ezines across the Internet. Although she lives in Amarillo, Texas, and her main career right now is her family, Staci touches many lives across the globe every week with her blog, “Spirit Light Books” at http://www.spiritlightbooks.com.

Small book blurb for Reunion:

Camille Wright and Jaylon Quinn met in high school and fell in love, but their dreams under the stars took them in two different directions. Now an aerospace engineer, Camille is successful in her career but struggling in life. Jaylon’s life had taken him where he never expected to be, and now he’s building a life that looks perfect—from the outside. Both remember the love they shared but understand that love once lost hardly ever comes back around…

Ten years later. Lives have changed. Dreams have changed.
Or have they?
