Robin Shope – Biography

Married for thirty-one years, my husband and I live near Dallas, Texas. Rick and I have two grown children. I have five teaching certificates and am the Special Education Coordinator at The Juvenile Justice Alternative Education School for my county. I work with teens.

To date, my literary works include approximately two hundred articles in magazines such as: Live, Lookout, Mennonite, Christian Reader, Decision, Breakthrough and Christianity Today. Other short stories appear in the books: A Match Made in Heaven, Stories from the Heart, The Evolving Woman, and in the New York Times bestseller, In The Arms of Angels by Joan Wester-Anderson. Ann Spangler also used one of my stories in her book, Help! I can’t stop Laughing. Another two-dozen stories have been published in the Chicken Soup books. One story, Mom’s Last Laugh, was re-enacted for a PAX-TV program: It’s a Miracle. I co-authored a thriller, The Chase, for Revell. My second book, The Replacement, was released in June 2006. The Candidate was released July, 2007.

The Christmas Edition is a contemporary romance and my fourth book but first in a series , The Turtle Creek Edition. The Valentine Edition will be a late January 2009 release and the second in the series.

I should receive the release date of Wildcard, my new mystery, any day. It should be out spring 2009.
