Congratulations, Robyn. You have won a copy of Treasure at Blue Heron Lake, A Mainely Murder Mystery by Susan and Megan Davis.

This week I’m hosting two wonderful authors: Lisa Harris and Vickie McDonough. If you would like to enter into the drawing for their books, please leave a comment with your email address or email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings will end Sunday night. Lisa Harris will be giving away Final Deposit, her first Love Inspired Suspense, and Vickie McDonough will be giving away Wild at Heart, a inspirational historical from Heartsong.

The back blurb on Final Deposit by Lisa Harris:
“BECOME AN INSTANT MILLIONAIRE!”
It’s just another scam, sent via e-mail to thousands. Yet Lindsey Taylor’s elderly father has fallen for it and lost his life savings. He’s even gone off to claim his promised fortune. Lindsey knows he’ll never see a penny. Worse, she’s worried she’ll never see him again. Frantic, she turns to financial security expert Kyle Walker. Kyle has his own vendetta: he lost his brother to an Internet mail-order-bride scheme. He’s promised to help Lindsey find her father, but first he has to get them close to the scam artists. And the closer they get, the more danger they find….

Lisa has also two other books out now: Recipe for Murder (great title) and Massachusetts Brides.

Vickie McDonough’s bio:
Vickie McDonough, an award-winning inspirational romance author, has written 12 novels and novellas. Her stories have continually placed in prestigious contests, such as the ACFW Book of the Year and Noble Theme contests, the Inspirational Readers Choice Contest, and Heartsong Presents annual readers’ contest. She is active in local and online writers’ groups and enjoys mentoring new writers. Vickie has been married to her wonderful husband, Robert, for 32 years. They have four terrific sons and have finally evened the odds with a sweet daughter-in-law and a granddaughter. She has lived Oklahoma all her life, except for one exciting year when she and husband lived on a kibbutz in Israel. When she’s not writing, Vickie loves to read, watch movies, and travel. You can learn more about her at her Web site: www.vickiemcdonough.com.

  1. So many books I want to read, and not enough TIME !! (I guess a lot of us have this dilemma, don’t we?!). ~ Margaret, it was WONDERFUL meeting you at the ACFW Conference recently. Since that was my very first conference I felt a little overwhelmed at first, but the Lord did some amazing things for me (as always)!~ It was great visiting with you at a meal and then later at the elevator – – you’re a sweetie! Hugs from Georgia, Patti Jo Moore
