Liz and Pam are the winners for Patt Marr’s books. Congratulations, ladies! You are in for a treat.

This week I am hosting Jill Elizabeth Nelson, the author of the To Catch a Thief series. She has a new one in the series out January 15th. This book is right up my alley. I love books about artifacts and archaeology. Below is the description of the new book: Reluctant Smuggler. She will be offering a book in a drawing this week from her To Catch a Thief series (the winner’s choice). If you want to be entered in the drawing which closes next Sunday evening, please email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. Check out her web site at www.jillelizabethnelson.com .

Bio:
Jill Elizabeth Nelson writes what she likes to read–tales of adventure, pathos, and romance seasoned with faith. Her books aim to invigorate and enlighten. She and her husband of over 25 years enjoy the wide open spaces of rural Minnesota life. They have four grown children, and no grandchildren yet, but their offspring have blessed them with a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and breeds of “granddogs.” When not writing or reading or spending time with family, Jill and her husband like to indulge their passion for short-term mission trips. They’ve been to Jamaica, New Orleans during Mardi Gras, and Thailand.

Book Description of Reluctant Smuggler (from Amazon)
They say keep your friends close and your enemies closer…but what if you can’t tell the difference?

For security consultant Desiree Jacobs, the assignment was simple: make off with an ancient Mayan artifact and hand it over to the good guys in time to plan her wedding to ultra-fine FBI agent Tony Lucano.

Yet, in a world where no one is as they seem, Desi must decipher who the good guys are–before she ends up in the hands of a ruthless enemy.

Suddenly, artifact recovery turns into archaeological espionage, and the woman who finds all the answers must now ask questions: Who’s looting priceless antiquities underneath the nose of the baffled Mexican government? And what does a violent gang of drug and human traffickers have to do with missing artifacts?

Even with Tony on her side, Desi will need way more than luck to survive against the odds. She’ll need the truth–not just to set her free, but to liberate many innocents caught in the snare of calculating evil.
